With container volumes surging in the second half of 2020, Trinium experienced increased usage across several aspects of its TMS as container drayage companies look to improve productivity and customer visibility through more and more automation. “Automation is the primary enabler of improved productivity, especially during drastic surges in volume that our customers now handle. Record usage occurred with several aspects of Trinium-TMS, an enterprise application for container drayage and logistics companies, including overall user count as the company’s customer base continues to grow in every port and intermodal rail market in the US and Canada. Other usage milestones in 2020 included the total number of mobile users of the company’s mobile app, Trinium MC3. A record number of electronic documents were also captured by Trinium MC3, as COVID spurred a need for trucking companies to digitize their proof of delivery process.
Trinium also saw record volume with some of its 3rd party integration services as Trinium’s Availability Manager and Terminal Connect services traced a record number of containers at marine terminals and rails. Also, the number of EDI/API trading partners increased to an all time high in 2020 as demand grows for container drayage companies to connect digitally with its BCO, 3PL, and freight forwarder customers.
